I say Rave On

I'm loving Pandora, so much I've maxed out my monthly limit.

I have many stations, but one I love...it started with Pete Yorn and Scarlett Johansson "Relator".

But "they" connected me to a new artist, M. Ward who sings "Rave On" and I love it too.  Okay the video link on You Tube isn't the best, but I just realized it features Zooey Deschane, how very cool, another fave.  Be sure to listen.

I also have my Christmas station.
My Robert Plant station.
Bee Gees.
Abba.
Death Cab.
Cure.
Wings.

Today was my day off.
No kids.
It went way too fast.
I thought soon after I should document the day with pictures.
I took 188 pictures.

This is only part of the first 2 hours of the day.

It was hard to remember.  And when I was "out" or when the kids got home, it was even harder to remember to pick up and take a shot.

I've edited, and narrowed it down to 80.

Now I have to figure out how to present the pictures.

But my day went something like this.

6:15 up and shower
6:30 A&S up
6:50 downstairs, lunches made, breakfast
7:15 on the road to Illahee
7:25 home, finish makeup and hair
7:45 JH up in the shower
8:05 time for a quick spelling test
8:15 walking to B&C's house for a ride with Ashli
8:30 the house is quiet, except for my Pandora
8:30-9:45 laundry started, email check, google reader check, FB check, watched Jazzy's video, put away clean dishes, clean kitchen, listen to music
10:00 breakfast.
10:20 check email, check etsy purchase gone missing, more coffee
10:30-12:30 putz.  35 minute talk with Alesia, more laundry, clean my room, go through 5 purses in search for Sounder tickets, FOUND SOUNDER TICKETS!
1:00 lunch it was yucky!
1:20 to Lowe's purchase flowers and scope out potential trees
2:15 at Illahee, talk to fellow moms
2:45 home, snack time, more putzing, laundry
3:45 JH home
blur....
blur....
5:45 start dinner
6:30 clean up, mess with plants
7:00 on the road to pick up Lilia
7:45 distracted with Funky Sister's Vintage show.....oops
8:45 pick up Lilia, she falls asleep on the way home
9:30 back at home
10:00 chit chat with kids.  Straighten up.  Brush teeth.  Wash face.  Floss. Laundry to fold on my bed.
10:30 start messing on the computer.

Whew...I'm tired.

A day off

I have the day off tomorrow.  So much I want to do my head is spinning.  And I won't even have Lilia here to help me get everything done on my to-do list.

I drove Lilia out to Alesia's tonight.  She's been so hoping for a sleepover and playdate with the girls Alesia babysits.  After a week of promises, tonight was the night.

The house feels so quiet, with one less.

For tomorrow, should I play or be productive?  I really need to sit in bed and make a list.  I feel a little ADD with all the chitter chatter and thoughts in my brain.

I plan to be ready to go once I get JH off to school, say 8:30.  Then what?

First thing (as I hear the dishwasher going), unload the dishwasher.
And I'd love a pedicure.
I need to plant my Sweet Pea seeds.  Hmmm, are they supposed to soak over night?   I should go check.
I need to wash all my bathroom rugs, and Sofia's sheets, maybe a dark load.
I want to listen to Pandora, loud.
I have some plants that need to get into the ground.  Plus I want to get some alyssum.
Think, think, think.
Change work voicemail.
Sew, yes, sew.  My minky dot fabric came in.  I want to sew Jodie a pillow.
Thank you and sympathy cards, I'm behind, need to catch up.
More sewing thoughts.  I want to make Lilia a t-shirt with the #5 on it for her birthday.  Ava one too.  But I haven't found the perfect T, and the perfect fabric.  Maybe a trip to Old Navy and fabric store.
AND I can't forget.....there is a Vintage Show in Puyallup.  It's been on my calendar for months.  I think it starts at 4pm tomorrow.  How will I fit that in?
And birthday present shopping, yikes, a priority.

Too much to do.  Not enough time.

JH has soccer practice tomorrow night.
Sofia has a game Saturday morning at 8:30.
JH has baseball Saturday at 11:30.
Alex is having a birthday party Saturday afternoon until 9pm.  Go karts and dinner.  Must research that tomorrow some more.

SUNDAY.....happy 12th birthday Alex and Sofia!!!

Hopefully brunch at PV with the WHOLE family.  Add to to-do list, send out email invite.

Then sleep.

You see how I'm already anxious about Monday morning, back to work and it's not even Friday.

I need drugs.

So much to share

A successful weekend at Lake Joy, experiencing the 3rd Annual Women's Retreat and the 1st Annual Lake Joy Energy Retreat.  Which, to be honest, I hope it's the "1st Lake Joy Energy Retreat", cuz I could handle one of those every 6 months or so.

I will share more, but for now, must get to bed.  I have to leave the house, ready to go by 6:15 am. Unheard of....will share more of this secret mission tomorrow.
