Another "to do" down

I will be starting my 4th week of vacation.

I can't believe I've been out of the office for 3 weeks -- well I popped in a few times -- but really off now for 3 weeks. Seems crazy.

All the things I thought I'd do while off....well haven't really been done. I did straighten my closet, but I was really supposed to "clean it" out. It sucks. Have I been that lazy?

One of the things I wanted to dip my time into is scrapbooking. Well, today was the day.

I got up at an okay hour ... got Sofia ready for a birthday party. I helped her make the card, which inspired me to start. I got her off at 2pm and then I started fiddling. The first page I made was one of Lilia at the ocean. It was spring 2007, so she was nearly 2 years old. She had a ladybug on her hand. She was fascinated.

I made a total of 5 pages. I'll share one here and then off to bed.

Tomorrow will be filled with a day at Dash Point with the kids and No Doubt in the evening. It should be good!

  1. Very cute, Tere! I need to get scrappin' too! Lucas is almost 1 and I've done 1 page. You think I can sum up a year in one page? hmmph.

  2. No Doubt is in Seattle tonight? Cool! I saw them on Ellen recently. Why can't we be like Gwen and pop out two kids and have a flat stomach?

    Have a great time!

  3. Sara -- I used to want to scrapbook "events" and I would get overwhelmed with 20 pages of a Sun Lakes trip. Now I do video's of a year (at least for the CK family) or events such as Sun Lakes. I'd eventually like to do a video of the kids -- year 1, year 2.

I find it easier now, to just scrapbook my favorite pictures. Then it's just ONE pic I'm worrying about.

Miss J's mom -- yes No Doubt was fun (sorry you didn't come Sara!).
And that is the exact thing Ashli and I were in awe of ... her abs! Her body was tight ... and after 2 kids, amazing!!! But as much as she moves, and she did 10 full pushups on stage, no wonder!
